My computer crashed a few days ago and I have some very important emails in Outlook Express, in my old computer. Is there a way I can retreive them? The computer won't boot up, so vewing them with the old computer is out of the question. I set Outlook to get my emails on my new computer, but didn't get any that I received on the old one. cPanel doesn't keep any, as it 'forwards' them to Outlook I guess. Any help? Thanks
try hard drive recovery, if you can recover the data then possiblity that u cn get ur emails back. other option is to buy a hard drive reader and attach it to other machine and access the data. im using that rite now coz my pc is having real problems
it should be in your email. if you have deleted them. I think outlook saves the emails online not really on your computer.
Do you know where I can get to the emails then? Like I said in my first post, I inserted all the details (mail.domain.com ect.) on Outlook on my new computer, but only new emails came up. Thanks
You have to find the folder they're stored in: http://ask-leo.com/how_do_i_move_my_outlook_express_folders_to_my_new_machine.html
Pull the hard drive out, hook it up to your new machine on the IDE cable, you should at least be able to access the data
