    Sooooo? This whole change the pub-id vs remove the blocks completely thing is crazy since it achieves the same end for the publisher. It's just that the former is a slightly more gray way of doing it viz a viz the TOS. Someone else (wish I could remember who, will dig around for it) posted quite a while back that _removing ads_ for a week or two was sufficient to get ePC back up. Makes sense. Not saying that removing the ID wouldn't do the same thing, but what's the point. Any tests that are made would be useless other than to the person doing them because TOS would prevent us from sharing the statistical data.

    Edited: This isn't the post I was trying to recall, but it is similar:

    The only way to remove your pub ID is to alter the adsense code. That's breaking the adsense rules. If they find out that you changed your code, they could ban you.

    If anyone get ban because of removing the pub id then please update on this thread, thanks!

    Leet:
    How often should we use this method? do it every 2 days and rest a day?

    @louislim2,

    I'm glad it worked for you too. Remove the pub id and put it back when you start to see high paying ads being shown on your site. And do this periodically.

    I'm not willing to share it :) You can code it yourself as the idea is already given, which is the hard part of it.

    this will work. no doubt about it, just use caution when doing it and always expect the worse when your toying around in uncertain waters.

    and i don't know why everyone has decided to hate on leet now because hes letting us know about something he found. Even if it could possibly lead to banning by google its still useful information, and thats why i come to DP. Without these kinds of threads these forums just become like anyone elses who just brag and never discuss anything of importance.

    anywho good work on letting us know and i applaud you for at least adding something of importance on the board.

    ^[You are in fact modifying the original Adsense code, and therefore going against TOS.]

    I tried this on one of my arcade website, and noticed the spider come less freauently in the logs. and I got one $1.20 click:)

    Its impossible to get your click tracked with your ID. Its something like logging in you email without any email ID. how can their server recognize.
