$60-1st & $20-2nd Logo Contest - Girls Sports website

www.chicasports.com is a new online community for high school and college prep. girls who play sports with an attitude. This will be a place they can talk about their sports experience and make friends.

Design

Looking for a Stylized "Chicasports" that could be put on Hats, T-shits etc. Logo does not have to be a stylized "Chicasports". I would also like a stylized version of the words Chicasports - Something that would look cool on a T-shirt or Hoodie. Just looking for any kind of cool logo that will be attractive to todays extreme sports youth market.
Our target market group are girls aged 8 - 26.

can i ask? when will be the deadline of this?

 

I really didn't have a deadline in mind because this was my first logo contest here and I wanted to see how much entry I will get.

However, I don't like to drag it too long. I was watching this contest: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=339978 and it's getting pretty good entry for a short period of time, so I would say 2 days should be enough.

Although, if I see something I like I can stop it right then and there (make the selection).

I'm open to suggestions too.

Here's 1 has 3 colors would not cost much to put on shirts

 

I think the style of my logo can be defined as feminine, which may suffice for not having a 'character' icon placed into my design.

 

Actually, you're on target with your statement but even though this is a site for "female" it needs to represent their strong and competitive side because it's a Sports related site.

Just wanted to give my feedback:
Most entries were VERY GOOD. However I don't want to restrict the logo to a certain sport (i.e. volleyball, gymnastics, etc...) because it's a site for ALL sports.

Just like the example I provided, it's not restrictive and complicated
