Hello, I've been using the free version of WebCEO and found it to be rather usefull. However, I'm not clear on what I would get by upgrading to the paid version. Can anyone give me a brief overview? Thanks for your help.

I have found the Web CEO to be a bit confusing to navigate and I used the free version on IBP8 and 9 just for fun as I usually do everything organically. However, I finally went and bought the SEO Elite (I am not an affiliate!) and I gotta say that if you already have a pretty good handle on what needs to be done for your on page optimization that SEO ELite Version 4 is a pretty impressive time saver for the off page stuff if nothing else.

I will say again (till I am not tired :) ) that as for me SEO Elite is a real crap. It has just a couple of functions but they are so awfully divided into those 7 projects that it is practically impossible to navigate.

It is probably kind of pretending to be more important and functional than it really is. And those everyday Brad's letters trying to sell me something else!!!

Have you seen their Keyword Cloud Generator? It was nothing more than one of the ways to get hundreds of testimonials. With such way of marketing I am not surprised that SEO Elite site consists of nothing than testimonials and hype. Ugh!

I have WEBCEO cause they had a massive discount for the PRO version. Essentially the major feature I use is the ability to brand reports... which you can do in IBP but it's cheaper to purchase WEBCEO....

I couldn't agree more, IBP and WebCEO walks all over it. Having said that, i still find myself manually plugging in queries 85% of the time instead of starting up any tool.

OK can I backup for a second here?

I think I should have stated in my first post about SEO Elite that I also don't much care for the navigation and I also think that IBP9 is really the best all in one type of software out there. The new reason that I actually like SEO Elite is that for the projects I mostly use it for finding everything in one place has saved me a ton of time from bouncing around the web using all of the free tools that I usually use. The new version of SEO Elite doesn't do squat for your on page analysis like it used to and it should. I do like the feature of finding authority sites and tracking my SERPS for all of my keywords and all of my pages in just one piece of software. SEO Elite is not for someone that doesn't already have a handle on the on page optimization. IBP really is the best stuff our there. I just don't like the GUI of Web CEO.

Oh yeah, and the link cloud from Brad Callen is a POS but the new directory submitter seems to work OK.

I have used all 3, now I dont have time to use tools. Frankly speaking, If you are beginner and testing your own site, IBP is a good tool to try.

I always say the same - IBP is for beginners and then you need something more "grown up"
