    Pick up a SEO book for a start then use the techniques on your sites. Follow the news and you will become a SEO Guru in no time :)

    you can start with searching "SEO" word on google. it's a good start point and the second start point is reading forums

    SEO Book is a good start for SEO mechanics, short on the business side though IMO (it's an seo book so what am I complaining about!)

    Read the forums, that's your biggest and cheapest option.

    you dont need any Ebook! DP is enough for what you need o know about SEO. just search around stick with it everyday ad you will be good soon. good luck.

    I agree the forums , this one in particular, is a great resource.
    I am lucky enough to have an expert SEO guy that handles our clients, but for my own projects, he doesn't have time to hold my hand, and I have learned everything that I couldn't get from him, right here.
    And many times quickly.:)

    Of course the forums are the way to go, but the truth is many people hire/get consultants because they don't have the TIME to learn. They rather you lay it down how it is in a morning session so they can get on with life. Not everyone likes reading SEO stuff hours a day for years....wait a minute...gah i have no life.
