Ok, so I've been working on this project for months, called Listen To Your Kids. Here's a quick URL so you guys can find it and, hopefully, help: http://www.listentoyourkids.net All I want is to get indexed. The site has at least 25 good links coming to it from amazing, highly trusted blogs. At first, I thought it was because the index page was under 250 words, so I added some quotes at the bottom to bring it over 250, but now, it's still not indexed. Why? Any help is really appreciated.
Indexing has nothing to do with the sandbox. Just build more links to the site. It will come. If not your domain could be banned.
Your server is responding to a robots.txt request with an internal 500 error. This is probably the cause of your site not indexing. Search engines check to see if you have a robots.txt file disallowing them from crawling sections of the site. If your server answsers with an invalid response, search engines may decide to not list. Either correct your server so that it responds with a file not found 404 error, or a valid robots.txt file: More info: http://www.robotstxt.org/wc/exclusion.html Robots.txt file Generators: http://www.clickability.co.uk/robotstxt.html http://www.mcanerin.com/EN/search-engine/robots-txt.asp Robots.txt Validator: http://tool.motoricerca.info/robots-checker.phtml
i have got a similar kind of problem with one of my sites. Google shows the cached date for the home page to be 11th march, and for inner pages to be 24th april. How's this possible. I hav been regularly posting it's link in DigitalPoint and i did some directory submissions also. But for some reason or the other Google has not crawled the site in the last two months.
500 Internal Server Error error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. for both sitemap.xml and robots.txt plus, lack of content
there is only one think that you can do for being indexed by google . continue to build backlinks and wait
You'd wait forever no matter how many backlinks you have if your server is responding with errors when Google attempts to index the site. NEED to fix the robots.txt response.
I think i know why your site hasn't been indexed no meta description tags no robots.txt no XML sitemap no enough content If you dont know what some of those are just google it
Do you want to get indexed? then listen to what i did ...it worked 7 Day Google Listing Guaranteed http://www.ineedhits.com/submission/g-boost.aspx I was stugelling for months as well to get indexed untill used there services. It wasn't even a three days later and i got indexed Hope it helps
I wouldn't call it a secret thats for sure. One simple way is to add a link to a sig in this forum and others i.e. V7N and you'll be indexed in approx 24hrs.
