I just Realised that Pakistan is not listed in the countries to be selected during paypal signup.I originally live in UAE.But paypal has ZERO limits on UAE accounts.I'll need an active Credit Card to use paypal.So i tried using Pakistan but its not there.....what to do now?? should i go for india... Earlier i chose Canada to get some initial sending/recieving limits.But laters paypal asked me to verify myself through a BANK ACCOUNT in Canada.As i got none i wasted my 45$.I added a virtual credit card but it didnt verify me.It simply added the card.My account got limited access and there is no way i can verify myself now so 45$ wasted. I can't use UAE as the limits are zero from default even after adding a virtual credit card.....i will need a credit card which paypal will use to process payments.This is silly. So now if i use India...will paypal ask me to verify though a bank account.Or may be this is only for North America. I just wana make sure that after putting my country as india and adding a VCC will lift up the limits and paypal wont aks me to verify using a bank account in Indian thats in my name.Because im in UAE and i got no bank account in Indian.I dont wana loose more money now. Please help.
dude... i need to know if i put my country as India..will it ask me to verify my paypal account using a bank account in india... this is what happened to me when i chose Canada as my country.I added a VCC to my account but it didnt verify me.It asked me to verify using a bank account in Canada.It put a LIMITED ACCESS shit on my account.I couldnt send/recieve money untill i verify though a Canadian bank account. this is the best i can do to explain....

It wont ask you to verify through Bank but wont you be breaking their TOS and keeping your money in danger?

What if they ask to verify your documents? I won't suggest doing this as PayPal can block your account any time asking for more documents like ID card, phone statements and lots of other crap. Risk involved mate
I have the same experience with yours, what I did: Buy virtual office address in singapore (you can use this as your LEGAL address in Paypal, or any other purpose), then register paypal using this address. If Paypal request to send proof of address, then use the "Tax Invoice" sent by your virtual office vendor (they accept this as legal proof of address). Next thing is how to get 'verified': Register a brokerage account in etrade.com , they will contact you for verification purpose. Once your brokerage account is ready, order a VISA Debit Card (FREE), you can use this Debit Card to verify your paypal account. PM me if you need more detail info, I'll be glad to help.
I also have lost 20$ while trying to verify my account. I have an account of India, but it didn't worked. So wait and be patience until Pakistan will be in, at their lists.
i just tried same but still my account got blocked they needed bills of my address and stuff dont try it
1. no bank account is required for indian paypal account as paypal does not alloww bank transfer to india from paypal account. 2. if you add a visa or amex or mastercard creditcard it will add it, but paypal will not allow you to add a debitcard as reserver bank of india on fen 2 2006 banned visa and other cards for international transactions for further detail pm me and i'll try to answer other uestions if possible including there legal issues etc... also to get limit raised
Yaar your main problem is that it is very easy for paypal to tell where your accessing your account from. They do it by looking at the IP address of your computer and mapping it to a location. So once they know that you are accessing your account from a country they do not support or from a country that is different from the one you claim to live in, they turn your account into a limited account thereby freezing your money. The only way I know of to receive and send paypal payments from an unsupported country or a partially supported one like the UAE is to have someone living in a fully supported country do it for you using their account. The other option is to avoid paypal and use e-gold, moneybookers or 2co.
mate if paypal hasn't listed your country as mine too, wt i suggest is don't go for it coz it will surely lead you to problem, it will ask you to verify your location, after that even asks you to add bank a/cs etc. just wait till it accepts those countries, you can use xoom for paypal alternative, xoom will help you to recieve paypal payments and even credit card payments. so dont go for paypal if u want my suggestion than. Coz, i have lost more than 400$ in paypal using vcc and fake address coz paypal doesn't have my country listed to. btw don't waste your time contacting paypal and waiting for reply they don't even reply to ppl like us i tried to contact more than 5 times but they don't even give a fu***ng answer
i've tried alot of things, it doesn't work. i live in pakistan, and it's hell, because it's so annoying that paypal does not support us. it's sad. i'm now getting an account for moneybookers. works!
u can use MB, paypal will verify ur postal address/bank ac and some other info. and they also track ip location
Dont play with your money. Paypal is not stupid. They will track you down one day and then your post would be "paypal froze my account".
