According to a post by Shoemoney, Rich Jerk is selling his business to get out of bankruptcy. Full Store here: http://www.shoemoney.com/2007/05/22/rich-jerk-kelly-felix-selling-the-empire-to-avoid-bankruptcy/ What do you think? Is he really bankrupt?
Nope - he's definitely up for sale. Didn't realise it was potential bankruptcy, though... How is bankruptcy viewed in the US? Over here in the UK, thanks to the way this government has run the country, bankruptcy is considered pretty much an every day occurrence. Is that the case with you guys?
Well, in many ways the bankruptcy laws (personal) were being abused. There have been some reforms recently, but I am not sure they were a good thing. Some people were using bankruptcy to get "free stuff," planning on filing bankruptcy from the beginning of their spending spree. No accountability. As for corporations, some have now found that they can erase all of the past and present employee's retirement funds through bankruptcy. So the employees lose a benefit they were promised over 30 years ago, and no one is held accountable for the broken trust. It is really a mess that needs sorting out. Just my opinion...there are certainly others.
How much is his business going to be worth when people realise that the Rich Jerk (along with all those other MLM "marketers") aren't actually rich?
How much rich is Rick Jerk, so he is doing this all? I have doubt. It's all he's doing for publicity.
Umm using "going bankrupt" isnt a good publicity stunt it will just make you lose customers.. This guy didn't invest his money well just like Shoemoney said:
