I'm 16 and my goal is to have a site that brings in $x,xxx - $xx,xxx hands-free income every month, by next year or before I turn 18. Nice to hear about everyone elses successes. Some people here are really young and already doing really well for themselves.
Intresting thread. Well, I am 18 years old. Just stepped into 19. And I am making average of 500$ each month. Is that good?
I'm 17, and this month i made nearly $2500 so far... hoping to make over $3000 by the end of MAY. For the last 3 months my earnings have been doubling, which is great. I'm hoping to make over $5000 a month by the end of July.
I don't feel like sharing my age, but im alot younger then most others on the site, ill just say im in high school, i can decently code php/mysql, and i make over 2-2.5k net profit monthly and don't have a job, and dont spend all my time on the net.
I'd say that's pretty good man. Congrats on that, but is that hands-free income? I guess "how good" really depends on how hard you have to work to get that much each month. The less the better.
im 15, been making money online for 1 year now, only a few hundred dollars, but my entrepreneurial project was outsourcing website development from companies in the UK. from 1st february to around 20th april, i made about £2000 = about $3800. i've stopped this atm, but will go into it again in a few months. from adsense, i make little as i've had it only for a short amount of time and i have few sites, but in the future i hope to have some well established sites. i'm just trying to learn as much as i can for now. what you guys think so far?
They aren't. I would guess 9/10 people gloating about their 'online business' are lying about how much they are really making; some probably don't even do business online in the first place. I've seen it on forums all over the place, something about youngish people that gives them a good sense of self worth if others perceive their online persona as successful. People that make good money doing -anything- have other things to do than post online about it.
every persons lifestyle is different. I know people that would be fine to live of 1200 a month (most still live with parents) BUT some people arent hapy unless the make 100K a month and of course the in between the key is going after what you need then shoot above that to what will make your life "easier" To anyone starting young, seems to be many... you have a big advantage just don't blow it all on yoru girlfirend or a pimp'd ride (do that after you have saved some up) had to many people that mad money quick blew it all and all they have to show it is a car.... when they could have had a home and several cars but they blew the rest on women and booze.
I'm 23 going on 24 (guess not that young) I make around $1,000+ per month doing websales of sites I develop, monetize and then sell to interested buyers looking for stable sites generating consistant income from affiliate ads or other sources, on good months I will earn around $3,000 on average its $1.2k+ . I have been making money online since I was around 17, I started out making a few hundreds per month, like $500 using ebay and selling e-guides and other legal content I created, later on I got into e-commerce and made around $700-$1k per month doing that and finally I got into web design and website selling, I learned how to build sites for little or next to nothing and then earn small earnings from network ads like google, then selling them off like mentioned above. I know someone whose around 16 now making more like $25k - $40k per year doing website development and sales (infact he got me started in my current field), so as you can see anything is possible and no one is too young to learn how make money online.
I aim to make $50k a month by 2010, I'm 17 this year, so by the time I am 20 I'll need to reach that goal. Definitely achievable imo. I have some great domains and untapped niches.
My goal at 18 was to become a millionaire by 25, I'm 24 in October so I have just a little over 1 year left to make that reality, I pretty distant away from it right now but I have been working on an idea that I believe falls under the term web 2.0 , so hopefully it will be the thing that finally does it for me
