Do you use seat belts ?

I use seatbelt because my dad always insist and then it became a habit.
It's a good habit actually

Could be, but there are no air bags in the back seat normally.

 

I was talking front seat but yeah...but by the same token, I think those that sit in the back may have a false sense of security and may not wear them

I'm surprised athletes don't (though they are much larger and potentially more uncomfortable) but like when Derrick Thomas died (KC Chiefs) I figured everyone and their home boy would buckle up but that is certainly not the case...didn't another high profile die recently on account of not wearing a belt???

 

yeah, I am using the seat belt in car.

 

I never use seatbelts, hardly anyone in our town uses them, mainly because the laws regarding seatbelts are never enforced.

 

I wear them my kids wear theirs but hubby refuses to wear his even after being in 4 accidents I guess he will never learn

 

let's hope he's not that thickheaded in the rest of everyday life

 

Although driving slowly isn't going to help them one little bit when another driver crashes into them at speed!

I find it incredible that 8 people here believe they can defy the law of physics, DP must be full of X-men.

No doubt they'd jump out of a plane without a parachute either, I mean those parachute straps are just so uncomfortable.

I wear one and my kids are always in car seats.
I have a friend my best friend and she buts her kids in the van with out car seats or even seats for that mater and it scares me . She has already lost her kids once because her 2 year old feel out of the can well it eas going and she still has not buting them in car seats they are 4 and 6 know and 8 but the 8 year does not need to be in one then she has 3 teenage kids.
I pray everyday that they are alright. Sorry i seen this post and i thought of her.

Personally I always wear one ever since I was hit by a drunk driver.

 

I agree I have talked to her i even gave her 2 boster seats but no good. There is no more i can do but make sure that when they ride with me they are in carseats
