Whats your view on interracial marriages and offspring?

They are not nearly as common as these two would have you think.

I don't know if I could ever marry outside my race.
Actually it would depend on what race they were, some races I find to be visually unattractive, while others I find to be even more attractive than my race.

I don't live in the south, so I don't know about you all. I see mixed couples all the time. I do not see anybody giving it a second thought. Obviously, most people marry within their own community - so a majority of marriages are not mixed - but mixed marriages are hardly uncommon. As far as I've see, there is no stigma, no stares, nothing negative directed at people in mixed marriages. This thread is one of the few examples of open racist attitudes toward those in mixed marriages I have seen.

I thought so. I can't imagine there are too many mixed marriages in the Bronx. I think marriages between Whites and Hispanics is a lot more common because they are much more compatible.

 

I really don't take liberals too seriously, otherwise I'd reply with an insult back at you.

If I were the type of guy you are, I might think about reporting that personal attack, but I'm not.

I think the only important factor is whether two people are in love with each other. Race doesnt matter if you have found true love.

I think this comment, "I am not for interracial marriages and mixed children" is absurdly racist. The implication is that there is something wrong with "mixed children". Yeah, I am calling that comment racist. If you agree with it, then I am calling you a racist.

As far as not wanting to marry someone of a different race, great, don't. As far as telling others you think it is wrong for them to do it, again, I think that is a racist attitude.

 

Not at all. If you refer back to my original post, I said friendhips are fine; in fact, it is recommended because its great to get along with people of all colour, cultures and faith. However, marriage and realtionship is a step too far, in my opinion.

And finally, if you think I'm going to change my opinion on interracial marriages because some race whore on a forum says I'm racist if I don't, you're mistaken.
Like I said, I don't agree with it, and don't think I could ever do it. If I had a choice, I would chose for my child to marry within his or her own race. The same as I would choose for them to be heterosexual, not obese, and so on. It's just a preference, you act like I said to put all interracial couples in a fucking gas chamber and feed the babies to sharks. You need to relax a bit...
