Animals evolved to become human beings, so if animals do not have soul, human being also does not have it.
humans arent animals animails dont have souls but humans do. as humans we are a spirit we have a soul and we live in a body.
they do, otherwise they wont be alive, they wont react, all life's have soul. as humans even animals do same things, remember we became humans from apes , just check out history. if u say animals dont have soul then humans also don't have.
Depends on which animal. And I'm not sure about soul, what do you mean by soul? If you're talking about consciousness, I'd say advanced creatures like dogs, cats, horses, and the rare South American Zebra. Deadliest creature on Earth, next to the manatee.
I am not sure if animals have a soul. Maybe the dog or my cat have one but I am pretty sure cockroaches have none.
Everyday people will wonder if their pet (their soul) will make it to heaven someday... but you gotta wonder... IF these pets are wondering the same about their owners ?
why coackroaches dont move around, dont they reproduce, dont they live ? if they dont have soul then they just have body, how will a body work without soul can u explain
No of course not. As human beings we have evolved to a state whereby we can take actions knowing what affect they will have in the future. In other words i know by posting this reply, someone will read it; i also know if i cheated on my girlfriend it would hurt her and end our relationship. Animals however act on instinct, aside from the fact that some animals can show a personality - frontal lobe damage in the human brain has also shown that personality and character can be altered by brain damage. No soul involved. Animals go for food and they kill for food not thinking about the consequence of this, but thinking about their own survival. Unlike 'animals' people do not act merely on instinct. However like animals we are evolved from a single cell organism, and as simply a collection of cells we have no reason to believe that we differ from the simplest protozoa. To believe that animals have souls, you first have to believe that human beings have souls, but the soul - as with everything else that we 'know' in the most profound sense is a creation of human existence. Even time itself is a human creation. The very words that describe a soul are created by people. So what is the soul? Is the soul our own consciousness? Animals are certainly conscious, but is the soul our ability to love, to feel, to judge? All of these emotions are simply abstract thoughts created by people. They do not really exist. Animals do not have souls because they are unable to articulate what a soul is. People do not have souls because though they are able to articulate what they think it is, they are only describing their ideas. If we believe that the soul is our consciousness - the thing that makes us human and good - animals cannot have it. However if we believe that humans are animals, then we all have souls or none of us do. Looking at how basic animal consciousness is - the single cell organism - the obvious answer is none of us have souls. If we believe that the soul is the part of us that continues after death - at what point in evolution did the ape suddenly become human? When did heaven appear? If animals do not know that heaven exists (which they obviously do not since religion again is a human creation) then how can they ever go to it? The obvious answer here is the soul does not exist. The real question here is do animals think, and if so in what language? And yes, I am an existensialist.
Well i am new to this site and this is a subject i like. I belive that animals have souls I am for sure that they do they love there masters (dogs and cats) I had a dog that was like my side kick. I loved that dog and i know that he loved me so there is my 2 sence lol Trust me i have always had something to say lol again Brandy
The biggest problem with the Bible and any other religious book is that many people can interpret a passage with several different meanings. This is what contributes to the various branching off of many religions. As per the passage being given as an example of a animal having no soul it says "Only flesh with its soul—its blood—YOU must not eat." Does that mean if it says they have no soul, then does it mean they have no blood either? It does say "flesh with its soul-it's blood." Religion is faith and to quote the Bible as a factual book is assuming that everyone has the same faith. This is not the case for many religions believe that it is purely written by man.
