I have a fat link into my site from Wikipedia, but it links to a worthless page deep in my site, not to my index.html page. If I redirect from that page to my homepage, will my homepage get the benefits of the Wikipedia inbound link?

Make it a direct link to your Home Page, but be aware - What was the listing in Wikipedia about? If your home page is not relevant to that topic it might be removed instantaneously.

If the link in Wikipedia is not relevant to your Home Page, start working on your worthless page and stay on the relevant topic and let that benefit your site.

Plus Wikipedia links are worthless for SEO purposes....they implemented the nofollow tag on all links a few months ago....no pr or link juice is passed

Wiki isn't bad if you're looking for direct traffic from it and it's a relevant submission. As previously stated they have the nofollow attribute now though, so worthless for the serps~
