no, that's all i can assume it was.. i hadn't checked my adsense account in about 4/5 hours before it was disabled, so i'm assuming that's when it took place...

that's the only possible thing i can assume also.. i wish adsense would tell me what site they found the invalid clicks on.. when you've 7/8 sites with apparently normal traffic it makes it very difficult to pinpoint any potential fraud.

i've sent away an appeal, but don't expect to hear back having read all the stories on here.

it's a shame they can do this.. it means anyone can sit behind a proxy, and click you out of the system.. it's ridiculous.

you can get your account back only if you are a big fish, have a lot of logs and stats to prove it otherwise no chance. Try to find something else and do not worry the more people are banned from google, google loses its revenue and people switch to a different publisher which makes google less powerful and less frightening.

As far as I know, google will distribute back your earning to the publisher, but in my case google send the last farewell check for me, yes, you are not alone, two and half year with google and 'almost' five figures in total, I got banned, stat send along with complete possible reason, the goddam good sometimes was not enought for google. :-(

It would be nice to create a poll of how many adsense publishers in DP get banned ? Looks like there's a great number of them :(

Good luck with your appeal and hope it helps. I was only warned once and that was about someone that click bombed me...unfortunately....
I got track of the person and warned him and google.
It was only a warning from google and that is now long time ago...but indeed you can try and email them with good arguments.
In any case you can't blaim yourself for failing to try to get your account back then.

    read this thread

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=338427

I submitted what i thought was one hell of an appeal with tons of stats to back up my position it didn't mean crap. I even had the support of one of the autosurf site owners which provided the IP and other information on the person that submitted my site. I had my traffic stats, click tracker stats, and more. Even showing that I had not done anything wrong my appeal was denied in my opinion without even a token investigation into my claim.

in my opinion google can kiss my %#$!

i make more money with commission junction anyway.

Preventive was the best solution, if it's too late you're done!
Is there any thread discussing preventive action from click fraud/bombing?

There's nothing you as a publisher can do to protect your adsense account. If your rival or somebody stupid here wants to ban you from adsense, all need is clicking on the ads on your site a couple of times. Yeah you may be using so-called AdLogger to prevent the click bomber, but he can use proxies to penetrate.

That is why I think everyone here should not disclose their websites in public. If you happen to argue with the wrong person here, you'll get those punches through the adsense ads.

Just 2c from a banned publisher and a victim of click-fraud.

Thanks for all the advice guys..

If they explianed why they banned my account, at least i would have some sort of closure and i could learn from my mistakes and tell others so it doesn't happen to them..

but to ban me without warning and for no reason is very harsh imo. Surely working with me to solve the issue is the best solution for everyone?

like i said, it's impossible for publishers to track every single click and visit and determine what clicks are valid and not.

It means i could go to a proxy, and get anyone i want banned - there's something wrong there. It's not the publishers fault. It's a combination of the clicker and google's fault (for not provoding any security for this type of thing), yet the publisher gets punished :(

I mean, i make google money at the end of the day. If they ban guys like me without any communication, they're hurting themselves. I can't understand why i wasn't warned or at least told exactly why i was banned.

I respect they have the right to do that, and that's in the terms, but it just leaves every one of us vulnerable to this.

You don't have to be wrong to be banned. That's the very truth. I got banned because a rival clicked 500 times on the ads. Was Google there to help me? No. They were there to ban me even I had notified them about the sabotage. Yeah well done Google!

Listen, don't make enemies. And most important of all, don't disclose your websites in public. You may be inviting troubles. I just got to know a group of disgruntled banned publishers who are creating an adsense clicking bot. Yeah I overheard they would launch that to grab a long list of random websites and click on the ads automatically to ban all of you guys who put your website link in public.

just an update, google sent me an email saying:

We are in the process of reviewing your account with the additional information that you have provided. Please understand, however, that there is no guarantee that you will be reinstated into AdSense

as said before, i didn't send any logs/stats and simply told them that they're welcome to my logs but i've examined them and i can't pinpoint any suspicious activity. Basically i said i could see nothing wrong, the only reason i could think of was click bombing..

maybe this is just an automated - we received your appeal.. email, but hopefully it's genuine and they are actually looking at my case :)

he said he got ONLY 4-5 clicks a day ... dont think it is click bomb

mabbe just someone he knows that's helping him to click once everyday.. heh

thats good enough for google sometimes if your traffic is low and such .
