Thanks! It's always easy to reply about your love for Jews. Now keep track of my other stats and get me a cup of coffee! I've been looking for a personal secretary. Get your shoe shine kit.

Lemon116 I don't think the US support for Israel is solely based on that. Part of our support is much more personal than that. Most Americans have a great deal of respect and admiration for the Jewish people in general. Jewish people have a way of mixing with our culture in America and making it even better. So we like the Jewish people here and naturally are concerned as well for Israel.

Getting back to the question being asked, I did introspect a lot and this is what i feel..
There are 2 solutions to this:

    1. Let the hezbollah and hardline jews fight each other in a common place and see who wins.
    2. Lets toss a coin and whoever call's the winning side gets to take israel (Its based on their own idea which says God supports the so-called believers)

I think this idea is very fair and workable, and guess what all political problems can be solved by using just this same formula.

PS: Sometimes i think its about time i get to become the UN General Seceretary for my great ideas but then again the UN is powerless :D

Im sorry but you are half wrong, In the muslim religion and in the Jews as well it was NEVER written to kill each other, it was written 2000+ years ago when all lived happily 2gether.

It is today when muslim leaders incorage to kill and suicide, but it has no base with their early religion.

The jews where never told and STILL are never told or incoraged to kill arabs.

bravo, you just said that yourself, extremists are extremists, and not muslims, they are trying to make the religion in their own way, but then it's not a religion. But americans who are on this board can't understand that.

If I will become a leader in some country that has a religion X. I will be killing people, etc. , and say this is for my religion X, then I will write a book. I thought you cannot change a religion, what's written years ago ;)

And all people who says that 99% of muslims are killing, please read Quran, before making such statements. It is your problem, that you see only bad things.

N F S - dont be mistaken,It is not written in the Quran to kill jews but today in all of the palastinian teretorys books, newspapers, the teaching in arabic schools, children holding guns, the muslim leaders all incorage to fight (by any means) against the Jews who have "occupied" (As they say) their land, it includes terror suicide and so on.

Give you this to look :

How arabic young children taught to KILL jews

Lemon116, I know that. I am not mistaken, as you aren't too. People from US are mistaken, who think palestian = iraqies = muslims = turkish, and so on.

So we both agree that not all arabs are terrorists, ok
but you must also agree that the violance of the palestinians should stop, and its they who start the fighting with Israel.

nope, who started first is a good question since childhood....So, sort your problems yourself, 2 of you. That's the only way we won't get a 3rd world war. If we always will be seeking more countries to involve in this, it won't be good.

wow what great contributions, such words of wisdom, a strawman and then some insults

I never said I hated or even disliked jews

I just don't think the have been the innocent victims like people pretend they are, in terms of the conflict around israel.

Do you or do you not think it was right for the british to divide up land that doesn't belong to them and give it away?

It's a simple question , was it right for the british to rule over the arabs and give them no repersentation in the governement?

We fought a war against the british for similiar reasons.

I think both are in the wrong.

Palestian are bombing Israel and Israel have the right to defend themselves BUT Israel have taken land which does not belong to them. They hardly follow EU resolutions and expect other countries to follow them. They hold nuclear weapons and complain when other countries have them.

Why don't they just be friends and both sides should return what does not belong to them.

I don't want to comment any further otherwise this post will end up being an essay :)

I don't think this is right. Israel can also be classed as Terrorists as they do the same by killing innocent people. Does this mean all Jews are terrorists? No

The lands of Israel has been in control by the ottoman empire which later collapsed (1918) after WW1, its lands where divided between britan and france in a form called mandate, the mandate was a form of ruling in which the ruler in this case britan had to rule until the people in the land can get an independence.

During the mandate 1918-1947 the arabs and Jews lived 2gether under the british, the jewish zionist oraganization bought many lands from arabs and formed there new cities, fields....
There was also the so called "Aliot" in which jews from the whole world came to Israel.

This 2 facts - loosing the lands (which were sold) and the massive jew immigration made the arab leaders afraid and they decided to make some attacks on Jews citizens and the british soldiers ruling the area.

There were 3 big attacks of this kind, in 1921,1929 and 1936, than the jewish decided to form the "Haganah" a protection force, it was mostly defensive in nature.

In 1947, following increasing levels of Arab-Jewish violence and general war-weariness, the British government decided to withdraw from the Palestine Mandate. Jewish immigration grew steadily after the late nineteenth century and took on added meaning, and gained added external support, in the wake of the Holocaust.

The UN General Assembly approved the 1947 UN Partition Plan dividing the territory into two states, with the Jewish area consisting of roughly 55% of the land, and the Arab area consisting of roughly 45%.

The last 2 phara. are taken from wikipedia.

My guess is that the british AND the whole world got enough of the arabic violence plus many lands where bought by the jews, the land was shaped by the jews and it was poor on the arab side, thats why it was divided so.

I hope you tell this story to your children because it took me 20 min of my life.
