Also, I realize that if you are using a browser other than Firefox, my homepage header is misaligned. Any tips would be helpful.

your colours and theme are ok but why is the "K" letter big in your logo?

 

Just a style choice really. Also, the name comes from the gaming term 'A.F.K', which means 'away from keyboard', which is used a lot in games. From that, it turned into A.F.Kay then to AFKAY.

Do you think it should be changed? I personally like it, but if you have a suggestion, i'd like to hear it.

well, my site is a gaming site, and its a pretty common acronym for gamers, so, for the site, it makes sense.

 

I like the simplicity of the site also the header with logo as it is a Gaming site Black color would be more prominent

 

I actually did have a black/blue color scheme, but, to me, it seemed too generic (hence why I went with orange/blue). I want a nice color scheme, but, more importantly, I want a color scheme that distinguishes my site from others.

nice, but i like less scream colours, orange is not so bad but you have a lot of orange at sites...
