Looking For Sponsors

    My name is Gary, and I am a freshman at Martin Luther King High School which resides in Riverside, CA. I play for the schools Junior Varsity Football Team, and I need to find a few people willing to sponsor me so that I can pay for things such as equipment and registration fee's for the various camps. My current goal is to raise $300.00. I've tried offering services such as baby-sitting, but as I am not that well known in my neighborhood (I moved here less than 7 months ago) there are not many people willing to entrust me with their child.

    I cannot really offer anything as I do not believe I have anything to offer that would be of interest to anyone. But I would be very grateful if their were some people who would be willing to donate some money.

    Can you do anything related to web development or seo?
    If no, what else can you do? Any special skills?
    If you have anything to offer, i cud prolly help a bit..

    I'm fairly skilled with HTML, I am currently able to effectively edit CSS but not code in it. I can read and write coherently (that actually seems to be a skill nowadays)

    I have a couple of websites that I could offer advertising on, that is more of a service rather than a skill though.

    You may want to try putting some adsense on that blog of yours. I don't know how many hits you get, but you got a great page rank on that site.

    I had adsense at one point, but a friend of mine decided to "help" me out by going to school and clicking on the ads a bunch of times everyday, so Google banned me saying I was generating fraudulent clicks.

    Bummer. Try Text Link Ads. I believe their number one requirement is PR. Maybe they can offer some salvation.

    I would suggest posting for advertisers under Blogsvertise or sites of the same sort for a quick buck.
