    It may be okay for now but if your directory is going to stay longer you need to look at traffic!

    I will soon prepare a list which will sort out by directories by some algorithim!

    and at that time we can find you is the best!

    Dang !! We really are thinking the same. I went ahead to Maryland Terps Basketball and I inquired about it hopefully they could give me a very nice price since the banner has other Sponsors as well. We'll talk about it in Phone.

    Thanks

    @Freewebspace
    Thanks for the suggestion. We will look into that ! :)

    Costs do not justify prices as far as the submitter is concerned. I pay for a link if I think it has quality that justifies its price, I don't give a xxx how much you spent to get that quality.

    If the owner chooses the Quick way to promote his directory by purchasing costly and recurrent links everywhere then he has to charge yearly to get the Bucks to pay those links. That does not mean that this owner or his supporting Crew should be trusted more than the other guys who use different approaches.

    Well some trust some and some don't. It all goes down for the specific submitters who spends. Whatever it pleases them. :)

    Sitewide Link still available 2 spots left at RJ Link Directory all taken at IndexWide. :D

    Seriously consider doing annual links as you are a Great Promoter as well and your sites are very good and ranks high.

    Thanks

    I find these discussions beyond silly. Since when can Google decide what your business model is? If John wants to turn his directory more into a huge resource and focus on giving the end user some real results no matter what they are searching for, more power to him. If Jeff wants to have Aviva as a business directory, then what exactly is wrong with owning a business directory and charging a yearly fee for inclusion. Would it make a difference if he calles his directory a Business Directory instead of a General Web Directory?

    Here are more thoughts of mine ...

    Its hard when your in the Middle of 2 boulders and they both have golden spoons that feeds steak with a power drink to SOME. :D

    Hard to decide one might collapse.

    Lucky for me I have a plastic spoon with cereals and water to drink while roaming around as a salesman but it works OK. :D

    So by stating this you are saying that you do (or someone else) review every single listing in your directory on a regular basis?

    I certainly do and I am pretty sure that Jeff does as well. I keep an eye on the directory categories in particular.
