.info or .com || buying in bulk || cheapest registrars

I am looking to start a network of sites, possibly directories to offer submission services to. So i obviously need around 100 domains.

If i want a .com, the cheapest i have seen one for is at netfirms.com for $4.95/year.

If i want a .info, i can get one from domainsite.com for $1.99.

Should i not bother with .infos?

    Please tell me,

which is better, why, where i can get it cheapest, and where offers bulk discounts for 50+ orders.

    Mike

.com is definately better... but if your in it for the price.. $0.99 at godaddy for .infos, but tey to stay away from them. .infos have gained a reputation for spam or proxies.

100 are not many domains and with registrar cost at $6.22 there is no room for discounts. Good luck with netfirms, i wouldn't even visit their site even more trusting my names

    What's wrong with netfirms ?
If you deal seriously with domains you will see that this is an offer for newbies

Regarding domainsite.com this is my choice for cheap $6.99 registrations

domainsite.com and name.com are the same
Domainsite is one scale better than Name.com

    Plus for domainsite.com :
    - Good, Cheap, Reliable

    Minus for domainsite.com :
    - The renewal is $7.99 (no plan for $6.99)

So you register the name at domainsite.com and then move them to the same company but their other registrar (name.com) with $5.99

From what I know NetFirms has a limit of 5 orders per billing address with 4.95

I use Dynadot and I'm very satisfied. And for orders larger than 500$ you qualify for 6.99 price/com.

Dynadot is OK but why pay more in advance or forced to deposit $500 when you can get the same price for just one name ?

Because only them will catch the promo trick and buy more stuff from them allowing them to get the lost profits from their registration price
For every 4.95 they loose at least $1.27

Moniker for the professional domainers' discount ($6.??). But their .infos are still expensive. Go with GoDaddy for .info.

login i believe it's clear that they loose money to get customers
I think they also limit the usage of this promo per billing address or something else that i don't remember right now. If someone finds good their services fine.

Registrars like netfirms and few others destroyed the meaning of registrar. Tell me one registrar who's selling only domains. They all became webhosting companies and sell ssl, hosting, whois privacy....

Is there a domain market anymore ?
