Should I use the paypal donation link on my site?

Hey guys I was considering putting the paypal donation link on my site however before I go ahead and do this could I please get peoples options on this because I have some doubts. The website I was planning on putting the donation link is in my signature? Thanks.

 

well, i dont see why not? i mean, are there any negative things that you're going to get out of it? no

 

I suppose so, however many people say that that dislike webpages with donation links on, I don’t want to dissuade people from using the site you see.
Also if I was to use one, would you suggest I use it on every page say by the side navigation bar or just on selected pages? Cheers.

 

oh, yeh i see what youre getting it, i would use it o nthe side, but maybe only home page, i dunno

 

Yes I think I may place a donation link later in the websites development, when people are actively using the website and trust it, they would be more inclined to donate or at least understand its existence. Since the website is relatively new, I think it may cause irritation to some visitors.

 

If its a button, probably not. But if its a pop up or banner, then YES.

Hey guys, I decided to use the donation link and I dont think it is as off putting as I first expected. No donations yet but I dont expect that yet lol.
