Sorry but googles tos make me go nuts reading and reading and still not understanding. So thought lets ask here. The ads placement at http://www.h-log.com are allowed as per google? For example http://www.h-log.com/index.php?p=h 2 Ad links blocks(one at top and one near footer) and 1 text ad link block. Is it allowed or no ?
Acording to google don't place more than 3 Ad placements on a single page! so 3 is fine........lets see what others say!
Alright thats what i thought but dont they have to be like 3 different things like adsense for content , one for search one maybe referal ?
Awesome design of the site, but the Adsense ruins it a bit since it doesn't match the background. I would make a div and create a solid background and center the Adsense ads if you can. You can make it look really nice with a floral border. But the placement right now seems legit... except for this: Free Seo Friendly Directory Resources Hlog » Top Hits Adsense Ads here Some might not see it as a threat, but I would get the site reviewed by Google just to prevent future problems (you really never know).
Oh no they reviewed it like few months back and those ads were still there even than and they pointed out the issues they had and fixed it and they reviewed it again and said ok great so those ads are ok with google. @ "awesome design" part , thanks just wondering how many ads can be placed and what context they should be.. like ahelpinghand said probably that part. I thought it was 2 content , 1 referal thingy and 1 search ??? but dunno..
seems fine to me.. According to adsense TOS, you can place up to three ad block, two referrals and one link unit. hope that helps.
nice design.. however adsense ad near navigation menu is against recent TOS change, please verify with them again overall seems very good
Alright thanks guys, google is ok with the placement just got this from them "Hi, Thanks for your email. The implementation on your site currently complies with our program policies." Cheers
placement is good . it's a legal placement and legal content. if i were you, i use square ads on top (under your navigation menu).
Try using an ad background behind the banner at the top of the page. That way, it won't look as odd as with a solid background on a patterned page background. Also, center the ad block, or at least put some padding on the left hand side of it. Also, the text-links are kind of shady so close to the nav bar. A good example of a good implementation of these is at the top of cssremix.com
Wats square ads on top ? wat are those things? @cagintranet whats these background images for google ads? Plus about ads placement do you see any spot there on the site where i can place ads like that ? @protesto oh most ads i seen that generate any reveue are like placed at such risky places (specially link ads)
