    Do you enjoy theme parks?

I recently wrote a review of a day at Seaworld - click here for the photos and story.

Obviously Sea world on the gold coast pales into insignificance compared to whats on offer in the states!

What is the best theme park in the world?
    Your opinion.

P.S. what did you think of my photos - second post down.

This is a hard question because it depends on what you are into. For me, the best theme parks is a combination of all the Disney Parks at Disney World in Florida. I think they offer a little bit of something for any age group and keeps you busy all day. However, I also love Sea World because of the great entertainment and of course free beer and beer school, at least at the one in San Diego.

The only theme park I've been to is called Playland. They've got a ton of rides there, it's awesome. The roller coasters are the best part :D

I rather enjoyed Busch Gardens in ?South? Carolina when I went a LONG time ago.

Surprisingly there is no theme park in my City to my knowledge.
I can think of only one in all of New Zealand.

I haven't been on a roller coaster before either. Sad but true D:

I am from NJ where we have the best theme parks, with the best roller coasters. Now I live in Israel and there are no good theme parks, no good water parks, NO big roller coasters at all.

Take advantage, go everyday if you have good ones near by! There are people over in Israel with no good Sunday entertainment at all.

Now we know the problem with the middle east - not enough theme parks - build one and become the next Nobel Peace Prize holder.

I'm not a roller coaster aficionado by any means but I'm pretty sure the best rated park for coasters is in OHIO...Sandusky Park??

I prefer museums. Not as likely a chance to get run into by 900lb men and women with screaming whining little children who wish to destroy what I have left of my sanity and eardrums, in addition to being completely ignored when they slam into you, hit you, and torture you while you await listlessly in line for a ride that turns out to be a bust. One day I might snap and start throwing children off the side of a ride - but unfortunately they're all twice my weight and half my hight.

Always a pleasure to see your positive outlook on life ;)

If you talking about Disney Land which in California, save your money, it stinks!

It is better to wait and go to Disney World in Florida, it is much nicer and the set of parks have more than you could ever do in a weeks time. :)

Disney World is where it's @. We were just in the vicinity and it's astounding what they have to offer...then you have Universal Studios and about 777 other things to occupy your time!

Just don't go in the middle of May or Sept unless you are prepared for the invasion of the "Love Bugs". We drove to the beach...must have hit 10K of those things!!!

The bugs, while harmless, freaked our daughter out but good (she's 4).

I can tell you what isn't the best one...

Paramount Kings Dominion...I think it's in Maryland, US (or somewhere near there...lol)...

when I was little (not sure how old)...i went there and the rollercoaster I was on came unlatched...i didn't fall out..but I did just about crap my pants :(...

I need to get to Disney World or something one of these days, only other one besides Kings Dominion I've been to is Sig Flags and Dollyland

wow, that must have been quite frightening and nearly very messy :(

When I was at Busch gardens I went on the Loch Ness Monster and it jacked my neck up...made for a nice 2 hour ride back to the hotel

    It was quite frightening....

they have this roller coaster called the 'Grizzly Bear'...it has a drop that is about 80 degrees down...(nearly a straight drop)...it came unlatched right before that drop...

my parents were in the car infront of me and thought I was screaming really loud because I was enjoying myself...:(..lol

that is peculiar. though in retrospect I had this sandwich once when I was a kid...pickles should NOT have been on there, made me sicker than a dog but I still like pickles.

so you know, small world ;) you nearly careen to your death and I had a bad pickle.
