I got terminated from yahoo, just got an email from them. I have more than $5000 in my account balance, will they atleast pay me half of what I earned? This sucks!
What is the reason they told? If it is poor conversion, I think they should pay you. If it is invalid/intenational clicks, forget about it. Did you receive your last month money?
Sorry to about YPN being a bitch to another person. Just to tell you, I made almost 3x more than that and they refused to pay me, since it was under $100. Also, it was because of that stupid "low converting" crap.....
You made 3x more than $5000, but what was under $100????? Or you made 3x more than $5,000 and they audited all the way down to under $100?
To put it into terms of understanding. It was above $15,000 total, but when they audited multiple times after they terminated me, it went to under $100. They refused to pay me b/c of it being under $100
Ah yes, yaho worked out that under $100 of your $15,000 generated where the only quality generated leads. It makes you think dont it. Do you think they actually tracked down $15,000 worth of clicks, and found which ones were valid/invalid..seems pretty hard to believe. If they can actually spend that much time auditing accounts for termination, then what the heck are they doing with time spent on developing the YPN sevice?
Wow, that's horrible. I've heard of others being terminated and still being paid close to what they were originally owed. Hopefully you will be paid at least close to what you were owed as well.
Well, did you geo target? If not I imagine that they figured out how much was international traffic and then didnt pay for it and then probably decided to keep a little more. I know of a few sites who used to advertise heavily on Turkish sites for dirt cheap and get tons of traffic and clicks. Obviously they weren't geo targeting and therfore lost most of their money. I ended up getting my full amount after being banned and I had almost all US traffic.
YPN's Targeting is Below online advertising standards. Being both an advertiser and ex publisher nobody is to blame except YPN. They should close their whole program until they actually target, JMO Harrison
I've been hearing more and more about this termination on low converting campaigns. This is new. Then they take 90 days or so to pay you something for our audited traffic? Why is it that Google and Ypn can get away with this crap? I now question if I should continue to run them. The more things change the more they stay the same.
Weird thing is I keep hearing these stories, maybe its time for some of you guys to stand up to that mess if they keep doing this its gonna look really ugly in the future for them.
I keep hearing these things, are any of the companies going to actually start paying people for their clicks. I mean seriously, what happens if i saw 2 ads on a site i wanted to goto or if you're like me and when i research things i click an pull up everything i can find on the subject including paid links. There are people who do that, but they cannot say that after 15,000 dollars you wouldn't get paid. How come you couldn't withdraw that money?
When I was termed after a week, Not saying how much money was there, but it was over 20k, and they paid all out except for about 2% which was kept by them. I was termed for low quality traffic, but was pay for about 98% so it couldnt have been too low quality? So if you have been getting traffic honesty, doing geotargetting and not clicking on your own ads, you should do pretty good.
