Hi, I have lot's of articles with me for my site and I am looking to submit it in the form of articles to get some traffic. So can some one tell me how can I write effective articles ? How does it bring traffic to your site ? should I give links to my site in the body of article ? if yes than how many links ? is 10 articls to 10 articles-submission sites is OK ? Thanks.
Re: links in your articles, you need to check the guidelines of the article submission sites. Some say its ok to have links in teh body (as long as it isn't spammy) others want you to only have links in the authors box at the bottom. Traffic - Really depends on how well written it is, and whether it is of any use to anyone. An article on a really obscure topic isn't gonna attract as many people to use it on their sites, likewise neither is one with grammar/spelling mistakes, or one that just isn't really that interesting. Check the lists of article sites that are on these forums somewhere, although some submission sites are better then others. I use article depot, ezinearticles and goArticles always, and add to that a bit if I can be bothered
Most article directories will not allow any links in article body and if they do they have some limits. I think Articlebase allows three links in article body. And also what more article directories you submit your article in than better as you would get more one way backlinks and more exposure for your article. If you are not really sure how to write a good article then getting a professional SEO writer would be a good way to go.
Write your best articles for your site. Spin and spin using a tool like Magic Article Righter and spin above 40% preferably around 80%. Yes it is tough at first but in the long run you will get the best results. The purist will say it is easier to just rewrite and article. Thats fine they are just telling me they have not or can not master spinning an article that is readable and have plenty of time to waste ... Once ezinearticles starts accepting spun articles as fast as you can produce them that is a real good indicator that spun articles work. The trick is up around 80%! Use SeoQuake plugin to figure out what keyword density is for top 10 on page one of google for your targeted keyword/phrase. I say keep it to 1.5-2.0% on keyword density but .... some very competitive niches I have seen it around 9%. After all no matter how many competitors there are in a niche your only real competitors on page one of google ... right! LSI (Latent Semantic Indexing) well whether it is real or not depending on what you believe it can be a fantastic way to make your article seem like they were written by an expert. If you are not sure what LSI is check it out on wikipedia. LSI in a nutshell is a algorithm that expects certain words on certain subjects or topics in certain niches should contain in an article. Imagine the power of that knowing what is expected in articles written in certain articles.
We do get lot of spinned articles through the article submission services to our article directory but they rarely get approved and published as they are very badly rephrased and very difficult to read. Instead of spinning the articles it is better to have them professionally rewritten.
With article markting, You can hit 2 birds with 1 stone. i.e backlinks and traffic. To get targeted traffic, the most important thing is your signature (at the end of the article). It must be very eye-catchy with call-to-action message. If you incorporate these element, you will guarantee to get click. However, make sure it is related to the article, else no one will click on it no matter how good it is.
Most people do not know how to spin articles correctly and will never master it. These are people that want to make millions in their underwear in front of thier computer with little effort. The ones that are doing it correctly have mastered the art and most directory owners can not even tell the difference including ezinearticles and know how to pass copy scape. I myself have excluded many articles out my directories because they were 'obviously spun' or could not pass a copy service. It seems that in the past few months I have had to exclude about 90% of all articles because they were poorly written, or poorly spun or just PLR. A few years ago it was under 20%. You say ... "very badly rephrased and very difficult to read" I say they have not mastered it and are looking for a shortcut or cheap backlinks. If they were willing to do a little more work no one would know the difference. So much for human nature.
Agreed with Jinmin, your signature is one of the most important things in your article, It's responsible for your click through rate.
About article writing, I am using Jon's Instant article wizard pro with great success. However, do not expect article generated is ready to submit to article directory. You need to touch it up a little bit and do some minor editing. Anyway, it helps to speed up article writing.
totally agree with this. This is probably the most important part. I learned this when I outsourced, and this guy did quite well on resource box - very high CTR and actual sales. That was the moment when I thought "Article Marketing works!" I think this part is even more important than the content itself, so whenever I need to outsource I have to go back to this guy to write my article.
Hi in my experience the most effective articles are shorter than 500 words. Loads of people tell you to write at least 500 words but I never ever found this as effective. Not everyone will read the whole of your article unless of course you are a seasoned writer. As far as Links as everyone has said yes no point submitting an article to a directory if you don't have any links in the resource area and I would say 2 links. Thanks Graeme
10 articles for 10 article sites? Yes, sounds fine to me. But I think it is better if you submit your articles to more article sites, so you can get more traffic.
To get more traffic to your site you have to consider a lots of things like you have to follow strictly the guidelines of article submission site, article title must be attractive, there must be little mystery so that reader cann't leave it before reaching at the end.Mystery must be limited.Your article must have proper keywords also. These are some tips but this is not enough. I also don't know the all things. I hope this will help.
Best technique for writing the article is "Write for humans not for Search Engine"... You will automatically gain the traffic and easy backlinks.
Writing a catchy headline is 90% of the battle and one great tip is to look on Digg for inspiration - there are some killer headlines there and you want to copy those that are catching the most views. Of course, you need to tweak it to make it your own.
The simplest explanation I ever heard was from an ebook I read awhile back, and unfort. I don't remember who the author was now(doh!)...but he said article righting is REALLY simple, and there are only 3 steps involved. 1. Tell them what you're going to tell them (aka "3 steps for Growing a Real Dinosaur") 2. Tell them (tell them what the 3 steps are) 3. Tell them what you told them(aka ..."so that's 3 steps for Growing a Real Dinosaur. Read more tips @ http;//realdinosaurgrowingtips,com) He said the problem with most people is they think there's some SUPER SECRET tip and they overthink the process. When every article just boils down to: 1. Tell them what you're going to tell them 2. Tell them 3. Tell them what you told them And gosh, I'd really LOVE to give the author of that ebook credit, because it's the best advice I ever got. I've been looking through my collection for 10 mins now. I'll look later on, and if I can find it(I've got TONS of ebooks lol), I'll come back and edit this post,
Article marketing is a very effective way of driving targeted traffic if done correctly. Syndicate your articles to as many directories as possible. Of course if you are only going to submit to a few make sure you use high quality, high PR directories. As far as writing style? Write as though you were talking to a friend. Of course there is much more to writing than just that in order to have writing that snaps, crackles and pops.. but that may get you going off to the races... Some other elements are ... 1. Captivating Titles 2. Captivating Sig Hope this helps
Focus on planning your article topics first and what contents you need. This way you will spend less time on writing and prepare your keywords beforehand, count have many keywords you should used before writing anything.
