How would you go about having individuals on a social network site sell something they make to others while the owner takes a one percent cut from each sale? Then how would you go about sending the money to the person who made the product?
You would have to control the means of payment sent from buyer to seller. The rest is just simple accounting.
It depends on how many products your selling. If not many you could set up paypal button for each one track sales and send payment at end of the month.
Paypal might be good for a lot but not all people have Paypal although they could use credit card I suppose.
With Paypal? You could give each seller a unique product ID to track their sales and then send payment biweekly, deducting your share in the revenue earned.
Hmmm yeah but each might have a lot more than one product and if you get like Myspace ))) (please God) then that would be an enormous headache especially bi-weekly. You can imagine it can't you? The old Ringtonegeezer in his office coffee everywhere pills everywhere. Must be auto script that would do it.
I'm sure there are solutions that would fit what you're looking for, I just don't know of any. Sorry.
