Hello everyone, I did a quick search to see if this was already posted but couldn't find info, maybe my searching is not efficient. So I ask for your help, how do I set keywords for my blog? Thank you!!!
you are using blogger classic template or new blogger widget template? for blogger classic template, I can give you full free help.
ok. you can confirm it by looking at the html code of your template. can you see <$BlogMetaData$> in the starting of your template ( after <head> tag)?? If yes than use the following: <meta name="keywords" content="keyword1, keyword2, keyword3" /> insert this line just above <$BlogMetaData$> and change the keyword1 etc with desired keywords.
No ...I don't see it there. This is the blog, and I just use the standard blog, don't know anything advanced. http://forex-yard.blogspot.com/ Can add those things myself or how can I change it to classic?
Its a widget template. So switch to classic template use following steps. Go to setting panel of your blogger blog. choose template-> edit html. Now you will see something like revert to classic template option below the template html code box. click on this option and your template is set to classic. Also If you want I can find some way to insert keywords in you existing template. but I always prefer classic style template as it is easy to work with.
Ok I'm in the Template section -> Edit HTML Tab and I see <$BlogMetaData$> there but I don't see Revert to Classic button below or on that page.
so now when you can see that <$BlogMetaData$> just add the code above it. replace the keyword1 keywod2 keyword3 with desired keywords. you can check all the meta data after saving your template with the help of this tool http://www.widexl.com/remote/search-engines/metatag-analyzer.html

Yup, I've seen it, but it's the method for a classic blogger template Hope you'll write method for new template as well.
vidb, did you recently open a blog with blogger? If so, I have the same version as yours, so just follow the instructions in this thread, it works.
Now all the blogger blogs have same version, i.e. Google Blogger ( with exceptions of some old blogs with 1000+ posts) . So this method works for all blogger blog as long as they are using the classic template. I will try to explorer the new blogger and will write a tutorial for the widget templates soon. Actually am too lazy to do that.
