I think people who think like that are are pretty stupid I think anyone who is proud of their race is stupid, honestly Its like being proud or you hair color or shoe size, you are born whatever race. There was no choice or effort put into what race you are. Anything your "race" has done up to this point was without you. Honestly if you have to be proud of something that happend to you without any of your input, you should really work on building some stuff in your life to be proud of, instead of trying to latch on to achievments of stangers which you had no part in. The reason the Mexicans are a "Problem" is that they did not grow up here and many are not assimilating, besides the fact they broke our laws coming here. people assimilate very well into the US culture in general compared to in europe most latinos are pretty americanized within a generation or so I don't think the problem is cultural I think it has to do with the massive numbers of people hopping across the border
I don't see Americanization that often, although I have seen many who are, the majority do not seem to be. Americanization means that you understand the history and you understand the politics and you understand the laws. Not go out and get a fake drivers license to avoid the law.

I personally think they should seal the border and many should be sent back I don't care if it costs a a quarter more for vegetables or whatever I don't think mass immigration of unskilled uneducated people is good for the country I also think that if there is a recession and unemployment goes up, we will see major clashes between legal americans and illegals over low end jobs
