Links on high pr sites

    This has probaly been asked heeps of times but say i paid for a link on yahoo for a year would that bump my page up through the search engines much or not really.

    Sorry i meant it as a hypothetical i haven't done it yet anyway don't bother replying there is another post about pr8 that has answered my question thanks anyway.

    Well no one can give you a 100% correct answer, but apprently most people believe that a link from yahoo+dmoz+botw will improve dramatically your ranking.
