The picture is really small, but from what I can see, it looks pretty cool. Good job with it!

Its not a super-gaming computer, in fact I do not play games, although it does have one of the new core 2 duo processors. I really love the case (thermaltake soprano). The visual appeal of building custom computers is great. If you have not built a computer before, i would recommend that you do.

I forgot to mention the 19" Wide screen LCD monitor. It was unlucky that it broke within 2 days of building the computer. Luckily it was under warranty.

3/5, actually i have assembled lot's of such pcs!
why do you buy the 1.8, perhaps you should have gone for the 3.6, that would have been better!

1024 ram is very much needed, am on 512+128, and it is woking fine!
    cheers:D

My budget was 2K AU$, if it were higher I would of considered as faster CPU but the one I am using now is extremely fast.

Good choice going with Intel, the Core Duo are the way to go at the moment.

Bad choice buying 2x512....1Gb of RAM is barely cutting it these days. For gaming and movie editing etc. I would of brought a 1Gb Chip and brought another 1Gb later on if you were low on money.

What video card do you have? and what motherboard? And how much was it?

I brought a new rig about 4 months back. My Specs:

    AMD Athlon X2 3800+ 2Ghz
    ASUS M2N-E SLi
    2Gbs of GSkill DDR2 667 PC5300 RAM
    MSI Radeon X1950Pro 256mb
    CoolerMaster 600Watt Power Supply

I wished a waited a bit longer to get DDR2-800 RAM, a better motherboard. And AMD CPUs have dropped like crazy. For the same price I paid for my 3800+, I could of get a 5000+ today.

Got to love PC component prices D:

He's in Australia, Newegg don't ship there unfortunately D:
