I supposed the selling price depends on someone's judgement and analysis.
Everyone goes by "I pay what i think its worth".

So if anyone feels that add-url-directory is worth $1000 or $10,000 (which i doubt) so be it. Anyway, not in a hurry to sell.. not selling at all.

    Have a great weekend guys!

Io be frank. I have always suspected average directories really didn't make much money. Really surprised at some of the bragging in this post...

Not being naive but i do trust that people like Mustafa is making quite a sum with his directory... I spoke briefly to him and realised that what he said does makes some sense.

But I shall tell you when it happens to me.. heahehaehahea.

think most likely, most of these bidders are new and just want to get in quick and start earning without knowing the risks and the costs involved. Only after purchasing it, do they realize that it will take them more than a couple of months to even possibly entertain the thought of recovering their initial investment. I seriously hope they have thought things through and not put their whole life's savings without doing so.....

I agree on the QBC, but sometimes the bids for directory are just outrageous.. very low or very high.. some says dependent on the income possibilities. So if we do use that gauge, how many months income is a fair gauge? i see people using from 3 months to 24 months...

    What do you guys think?

i don't think there is a single answer to that question. It depends on the buyer and what is your risk appetite and how optimistic are you on the business that you are buying.

Are you confident of growing profits? Are you confident that the demand will at least remain constant? Is there a possibility demand will dip? All these questions will affect how many months profits you are prepared to pay for the business. Of course, if u are very confident of growing the business & that business will AT LEAST remain at current levels, then u will be more prepared to pay more and vice versa.
