The hunger for the money never stops for INV! The more I gain the more I want. It's not about the money, its about the success! Money is just what I use to represent it!
I beg to differ, seeing my kids smile and to hear "I love you dad" brings me happiness and boy is it ever getting more and more expensive to get those rugrat monsters to say it and smile. In 5 years the first will hit 16 and that "I love you dad" is going to cost me about 15K, so you see money is buying me happiness. Now keeping the wife happy so she keeps me happy, I could use all the money in the world. As for the original question, I am happy as long as my daily average keeps rising.
Hurmm, still new right now and barely make $2 per day...so, I'm targeting $5/day for a start...btw, what do you think I could do to improve my income from these 2 blogs? http://gulpz.blogspot.com http://dailybucks.blogspot.com
To echo some previous comments, money doesn't buy happiness (although it does make it easier). But for example, I did a Cub Scout campout with my 7-year old son (not his first campout, but first time for Cub Scouts and first time w/o his younger brother). Cost was negligable ... but sure was fun! ;-)
Agreed... it's not about the money, but the money is a good way to measure the success at whatever you were doing. Since that's the case, I don't think people are ever happy because they always think they can do more. If it actually WAS about the money, then you could put a specific number on it. If it was *just* about money, I would be fine with $500/day. As a measurement of success, $100k/day seems like a good number (until I reach it).
I think when it comes to money you can never be happy. I was earning around $15 a day on my old site just with adsense. Now when i have sold it, its my target to get my current website to the same level.
