Ok so i have created the sitemap using a online generator (sitemap.xml) and i uploaded that to my website. I have also went on good sitemaps and directed it to the link were the sitemap is.

    Q's:
-Do i need to update the sitemap every couple day by downloading a new one?
-Do i have to have a link to the sitemap on the webpage?

    Thankyou

    - Update your sitemaps if you have created one or more new pages
    - No need for a link back

You can help engines find your sitemap with a link in your robots.txt file:
