I have a large list of directories that will take me a LONG time to work through so before I start I was wondering if its going to be worth submitting proxy sites to them? I can imagine very few of them being approved. how did othe rpeople get on adding proxies to directories? thanks
I personally wouldn't, rather than adding your proxies to a directory. Add them to proxy list sites such as bypasser.org, proxyroll.com, proxy.org, prox-list.info etc And as you said, proxies have a tendency to be disapproved in most manual directories.
If you had a proxy topsite, yes. However, if it's a proxy site, I would have to say no because sometimes proxy sites are blocked from schools OR banned from adsense... then you don't have a use for them anymore
Ive submitted my proxies to a few free directories and Ive yet to be rejected for it being a proxy,In my experience you dont really get traffic from the directory itself but they do help making you rank higher for certain keywords in search engines. As for topsites the basic consensus by everyone at PUN is they are pretty much completely useless and definently not worth putting 120 banners on your front page but proxy lists on the other hand are good and bring in pretty decent traffic.
Only if you have spare time. Proxies usually get most of their fresh traffic from proxy topsites and other proxy related sites.
Not entirely true, by submitting to proxy topsites, it will help increase your SERPs which can bring traffic from google instead of directly from the topsite itself.
You should probably find a a proxy targeted directory. That way visitors will be looking for proxies right when they visit the site
