Exactly. it's an irony that still SE's don't understand which website have the contents first.

Now on even Rewriting an article wont work, as use of synonyms also a duplicate content. I still fail to understand why SE's are not penalizing Article directories or PLR contents :)

They are penalizing sites having canonicalization problems which is a common human error and spare article directories which are made to gain Link Juice :)

How ever to archive best results one must need to follow shorter and longer version of article. The shorter version must have link to longer version (read more details)

Secondly I still feel if a article written for distribution purpose should be distributed only and must not use on your own site.

however, I still have lot of confusions and choose not to do that :)

Well I think don't overdo stuffs. Make the articles Informative, Interesting and useful for the common people. Keep the Syndication low. Concentrate on quality, the all I should say..then u will not have to think too much with rankings. Another thing, submitting to many articles may not work as the ultimate thing is to see what part the SE spiders catches up with. Submit your article to selected, good and Higher ranking article directories (Select the PR between 6-10)
    :) Hope this helps

Shouldn't the large(full) article be back on your site.. and in the submitted(short) version add a link to it too?

Will these be marked as duplicate too?

may be, within few months we will see lot of changes. It's very hard to predict. Still article submission is a good source of gaining traffic as well as backlinks and one need to choose wisely what to submit and where to submit.

Now a days most scrappers copy contents from article directories and remove the author links too. There are many article directories where links will reduce your site's weight too. :)

Speaking of changes.. do you feel any change related to the weight of links from article?

    Does Google ganged anything?

    less weight??

I had my PR dropped for most of my sites.. from PR3 down to 1

could be any source of info talking about changing Ggle's algorithms?

    thanks

Basically, All links does not pass PR values or provide any "approval ratings'. Some links even start counting for less and may reduce the rank of page. The key is to find relevant links to add more values.

About recent drop in your page rank, is this after 30th of last month? This month we are expecting TB and BL export and it may result some changes :)

It may happens some of your good links removed from index and resulted you a low PR ...

    Right, thanks.

I'm not doing any black hat, but it's obvious I did something wrong, something that Doogle didn't liked.

The fact of the matter is that NOONE is sure about duplicate content but I can tell you this most of the stuff being said hold little to no water- Google cannot ban duplicate content because all article directories, News Releases and all that would be out of buisness. That includes Prweb,Article Directories-RSS feeds- these are all duplicate content.
Don't worry so much about it. At the end of the day having an original article on your site says nothing as someone can go and copy it and not even give you credit for it- I've seen my articles tons of places with no mention of author or even a link back..

I appreciate this, thank you very much.

Is anyone here aware.. of what it could happen to a site..

    a content site.. 6 page.. - MFA...

    meta tags..titles h1,2..sitemap.. on-site op looks cool...
and the single off site optimization was articles submitting..

    let's say.. 12 per month..
original content articles, not top quality but still original..

so.. for one year, nice ratings.. even from the first time... I sow a few of my keyws in Google on third page.. and everything else looks nice.. and now.. for a month or even close.. site is not even indexed anymore.. not to sayin about google results.

Have you heard about anything similar.. or the new changes from last month..had some negative effect?

    this is my bid question

    what's happenin?? :)

It was around February of this year that Google started becoming MUCH stricter about filtering out duplicate content. So, as we discussed in the other post most of your article submission is no longer helping you. It might have in the past. I got dinged too on a few websites that were propped up by article submission. I went from #4 on a fairly competitive term to around 90.

Here's an article about it from February.

In fact, your entire website is probably thrown right in the duplicate content wastebasket. Even your website is copied/duplicated.

    www.farm-loans.com
    www.grainfarmer.com/finance.htm

You're not ever going to rank well when your site is a direct replica of others sites. Especially when the other site is older and has more PR.
