I want to ask you guys… are no follow link followed by all other search engines? I heard other search engines like yahoo, msn or ask.com follow these links…

I know that these search engines follow these links… but I want 100 percent confirm on this topic…

So I need DP members help in this topic…

Please post your feedback… What you guys analyze, your experience etc.

    :) Thanks in advance.

It is my understanding that the nofollow was specifically intended for Google. Other search engines most probably ignore it.

We found lot of evidence that GOOGLE doesn't follow <no follow link> even GOOGLE’S Team members says that they are not following. But I never heard from yahoo or msn... that they are not following the same tag for ignoring that links.

    thanx for sharing... your views...:)

Thanks guys for sharing nice articles and evidence… which shows that other search engines follow “no follow links” …..

Is there any evidence where I can confirm MSN or live also follow “no follow tags”

If anyone found any other good article related to this topic then please share here…

And I want all DP members should discuss on this topic… So that it’s helpful for everyone…

Thanx guys for sharing your views…

really? if i look in my google webmaster tools i can see a ton of backlinks which are no-follow.

I think for google "no follow" would be more accurately described as "no trust"

I believe that Google will start to ignore nofollow tag in the near future... or maybe not... :)
