Good proxy hosting?

im looking to buy a dedicated server, unmetered and at least 1-2 gigs, mabe duo core but if its to pricey i can skip.

I Can't seem to find to many server sites with unmetered, and i want feed back from some DP members on good sites. i don't wanna buy a server on some random site.

also im most likely going to set up like 50 proxies or so mabe more, can one server handle this?

 

No 50 Proxy sites will be a bad option as it will cause heavy server load.

Just 2 - 3 Proxy sites per dedicated will run smooth without HIGH CPU usage in the long run

2-3??? i can buy hosting service for 5$ that will run 5 proxy sites, so i dont think your right on that part...

I hope u can run about +50 proxy sites.The main thing is that u should keep on using phpproxy instead of cgi.It can eat a large amount of system resources.

 

He says 2-3 for CGI I think your talking PHProxy?

Whats your budget? I know a few but they are VERY expensive.. lets see if I stil have them bookmarked.......

 

well i was looking for about 150-200$ mabe, i know there are some good deals out there but for some reason my firefox doesnt like to bookmark so i dont know where the sites are. and yes they are PHP

 

just buy a US server it will save you time and money

bump i had to bring this thread back from the dead because im still looking, i no longer need unmetered but at least 1500 would be nice...and im looking for a budget of about 130-170 a month. can anyone recommend anything else?

the site i was looking at before looks like a good deal, so does this but what are you doing? reseller? like second party selling? if so thanks for the offer but if i needed Customer support or something it would be a pain just to work around.

 

Easily run 50+ off one

 

I recommend Hagio Host and also Luke Beale's hosting, I have had proxies with Hagio Host since 1.5 months and I barely had any downtime. I recently bought hosting from Luke Beale, its been pretty good till now. You can try either one of them.

I do dedicated servers but honestly i would never allow someone to run a bunch of proxies on my networks.. simple as that

I prefer CGI Proxy than PHP Proxy.Bcoz CGI Proxy is more effective than PHP Proxy !

I had the same problem at the beginning, but you get used to it

it's worth the money thought, it's only $50/month were a Dedi in USA costs more than $100.
