I'll second that. Tens of thousands of longtail phrases at 1 cent a click can be substantial if you are converting the clicks.
I don't get it. Each offer has already a landing page. So, what does it means to create a landing page? I can't replicate a merchants landing page by copying and pasting the source code, because it makes local calls to form processors. Can you elaborate a bit more on this landing page thing? Thanks
A landing page is used to pre-sell the visitor. Let's say you're promoting Ringtones. A good idea is to register a domain name such as bonusringtones.com and then put up a 1 page targeted around your keywords using a combination of text and banners Azoogle offers. You want to do this because such engines as Google look at your quality score to determine pricing and what you pay as part of the formula. Setting up your ads in Adwords to go directly to Azoogle's URL will get your ad declined and can influence your quality score. You shouldn't replicate the merchants landing page. Think of it as a 2-page process that the visitor goes through. Hope this makes sense -PK
Another reason to use landing pages is that you can sell multiple offers/leads when only paying for 1 click. It is what i usually do; I will promote a ringtone offer +put an E-mail submit for a cell phone and a "Free Ringtones" E-mail submit. it does well
I just got the following results from using a redirect to the offer page as opposed to a landing page: 14,000 or so impressions 12 clicks 1 lead then all the sudden it stopped generating impressions turns out i have a "poor" quality score and my maximum bid of 11 cents needs to go up to between 30 cents and 5 dollars, depending on the keyword, to be enabled for search. moral of the story: use landing pages. I now have crap for quality scores.
