is adsense really pulling that high of numbers? cant DP make a little more by using YPN or at least alternating them
At the moment (or at least when I last looked) Yahoo Publisher was still in its 'beta' style phase and when I tried to sign upm I was informed that only US users could sign up. As this site has such a multi-national user base it might restrict the amount of people who could participate. Having said that it would be good if there was an alternative to adsense for those of us who might have been err.... banned Diarmuid
Yes, revenue sharing would go down with YPN because not everyone has it. Also the thing with YPN is their contextual ads... not the greatest.
Scott are you talking about V7N owner John Scott ? because DP owner is Shawn Hogan YPN not available in all countries only in USA
I am guessing that Shawn uses AdSense because YPN tends to be less foriegn-traffic friendly, and Shawn gets a lot of non-US traffic here. Just a guess.
ypn not just happening for webmasters, very limited to a single country, probably when they go global something can be considered, from the start i saw yahoo looking more for big publishers. no reason for it to be accepted for now, though i had seen some tests happening on dp with ypn and then ads were taken off in a day or so.
so JohnScott is here,so derma JohnScott is administrator of V7n Shawn is admin of Dp. and yea about your question.YPN is very limited and i don't think it will be worthful as many members at Dp are Non Us i guess mostly Chinese and Indians.
BUT apparently the guy who owns/runs v7n or whatever is named Scott I did not know that! funny how it all worked out in the end good times...good times
