This would be the only way to go about doing it the correct way. I'm ready to buy in right now lol. I also think it would be best to build up a site that is already somewhat established. It's a lot easier building a site up that already has some traffic then a new site. I also think the best target is teen based. The clicks don't convert the best nor do they pay the most but teen traffic is easy to come across. All it takes is a few kids to tell their friends about the site and boom myspace and youtube form overnight. We could also link to the site on all our other sites and give it some good backlinks which will help move it up in the search engines. There is a lot to think about but I think within 12 months we could get easily have a premiere account.

Of course, there's a huge Indian contingent too... so maybe... :)

(not that I'm from either US or India)

If it is going to be an official company etc, I would assume this will cut out anyone who is under 18 (or whatever age is legal in their country, or the country of the origin of the company... not sure which would apply), as they can't legally sign contracts etc.

Also, depending on how much the financial input requirement would be, this would also limit people, as some I'm sure are struggling students with little income, or people struggling for other reasons.

I realise there may be no other option, of course, depending on what we can get donated from people who want to be involved.

It could be very chaotic if not managed correctly. Everybody involved must understand that they are part of an experiment and not a "join together, lets make money" scheme and if things go well, who knows it could turn into something beneficial for everyone that made it possible.

Sure, "might" is a great word. It might make $20,000, it might pay an individual $1,000, it "might" be a great expirement.

But this "might" costs way too much time and effort for just a miserable $1,000 or absolutly nothing as some are putting it.

Google, Youtube, MySpace, Facebook are all great ideas, and are "somewhat revolutionary" they all improved on an existing idea. But unlike this idea they did not start with the greedy capitalist idea of "money" (maybe myspace as it was started using spam and was originaly owned by a marketing company) they started with an idea to provide a service/improve existing services that people would value and enjoy.

So far this idea has started with "premium publisher account" now, I dont know how your going to sell this idea to people, the people that matter, your customers your clients. They wont get a premium publisher account so they wont ever be interested in this idea. So I think again, somebody has to come up with an idea. If an idea is so good that would bring them 20million impressions why would they give it away? Why not do it themselves? As an entrapenure you dont give your time away for nothing do you??

As for being "so much creativity", I dont see that. Maybe 1 person will have a really great idea and everybody will jump on it. I see a collection of people with a large range of skillsets that can help an original idea. But not come up with one.

Can it be pulled off, sure if theres good management and people can put there ego aside it should be possible.

I plan on releasing an outline of my thoughts and what members have said both on here and in my inbox. Both good and bad. Should be ready by tomorrow afternoon (about 14 hours) feel free to send more, or post it open for discussion.
