Hello, I have just finished setting up my website, I know the content may not be your cup of tea however could you comment on the overall appeal etc of the site for me. I would be sincerely grateful for your help. Oh yes the website address is in my signature.
Is not about whether the content is my cup of tea, but whether it´s informative, original and is giving people what they are searching for when they type in related keyterms in search engines. I think that your site is a good start, but need to have a lot more life in it in order for people to start visiting, revisiting, and passing you on as a reliable source for philosophy. You obviously have the ads up already. Now forget about the ads and make something out of the site. Nice domain name btw.
Thank you for your excellent advice, I really appreciate your opinion on this matter. I think I know what you mean when you say make something of it. I wanted to leave it very simple looking with fewer distractions so people can concentrate of the content. Oh thanks for the compliment on the domain, a friend of mine suggested it to me after all other ideas failed.
For your adsense ad on the right, it would work nice if you could add a very light pale green background.
Hey Steve, There's a lot of white space on the right side. Can you add stuff there? You might want to narrow the page a bit so it's not so obvious. Right now it takes up about 1/3 of the page. I would keep buiding that blog up with content. You might even try to find some free reports and place them on the site as giveaways or for building a list. Oh, and after you put some content up, start marketing it. They'll come. Mary
