    Hello all,

I am considering a newbie in this forum, just get warning because I am posting notification about a PM have been send to an offer thread.

The first post on this thread mention that, but the FAQ about posting guideliness (which I read it first before any posting) do not mention that.

I suggest add several cause of infraction mention on the first post on this thread to FAQ, so newbie user can follow the guideliness.

anyway thanks for all, this forum was great

    Question,

Just to get my head around this.

    Scenario:
A thread is created by Person A and many people post in that thread about Person A's services. However, one person gives a bit of praise in Person A's thread about Person B (who used to own those services by Person A). Person B notices the praise and goes in to Person A's thread and thanks the person giving praise.

Is Person B worthy of an infraction even thought it is Person A's thread?

    Col :)

Go to any forum, on the left below the navigation menu(the usercp etc links bar), you'll find a button written New Thread.

    Click on it.

ellict, the person you sent the PM to knows about the PM, so there's no reason to post about it in the thread. :)

    Fair enough.

I copped one as Person B in this scenario. It's only one I suppose. I'll live.

    Thanks,

    Col :)

Hey you! Yes you, you red rep Mafaka!

As long as you get enjoyment out of logging in every now and again simply to red rep me as stupid as that is... whatever amuses your simple little steroid abusing brain is fine by me :D

Yeah, but don't get too many of them, or someone will start getting pissed and then they slam you down hard. I've seen it happen to one dude the other day ;)

Hey Guys, I have just received an email stating ‘You have received a warning at Digital Point Forums’ for posting in the wrong section. I find it scandalous that DP is such a totalitarian forum where people are warned for making a general mistake, why not let them know their mistake so it can be rectified. This was also said to me ‘You're a scumbag’. How immature? I mean come on is there any need for that language?

    Mwahahahahahahahaha

the warning IS a way of letting you know that you made a mistake :p

If you look youll see you didnt get any actually infracktion points taken off.

Also I highly doubt that a mod called you a scumbag.

Are you sure you are not talking about a comment someone left you in the rep comments?

Not sure if there is a need, but I have seen what happens on dp when people don´t know a mod is around. And trust me, I can see myself calling people scum bags quite a bit. Depends on how much intent there was behind the violation .

I'm sure they called you a scumbag because you made the brilliant suggestion of CLICK FRAUD!

    But it wasn't a mod....fyi.
