I run an arcade site. Does it makes sense to focus on one big keyword like "free games" or spread the love between many keywords? I'm currently getting the bulk of my traffic for a big keyword for which I am ranked 16 on Google. It sends 500 visitors a day so I imagine if I make it to the top 5 that would mean a lot more visitors. But getting those extra 10 spots will cost a lot of time and money - I'm just wondering what makes more economic sense.
u better go for key phrase . u can put all related keywords in sentance and u can get listed more in serp one
I go for multiples but keep the list SHORT! If you can dominate one popular phrase that is sometimes better than doing OK with 3 or so.
your right,, it costs a lot of time! its just the way it is... the more you give extra effort and time,, the more your site goes up to SE's...
I'd suggest you focus on more keywords. At the moment, you are ranking @ # 16 on Google for an important Keyword. What if Google changed its algorithm and you fall in SERPs? Focusing on other related keywords will be much more easier than just concentrating on one main Keyword. Diversity is always a good option.
Hi, You should: 1) Use multiple keywords that are non competitive 2) Use pharses such as "How Can.." etc.. Hope this helps!
I will focus on getting at least to the top 10 for that keyword for now .. build more quality backlinks for it definitely. Once you reach page 1, then i will spread out to some other keywords. imho.
Bad idea... One of the posters above said it best... try and diversify, this way when one keword (phrase) looses some ranking, your traffic doesn't disappear overnight. Focus most of your attention on main keywords/phrases (these require the most work in order to get to the top) but sprinkle in a few secondary keywords/phrases in there as well (less work is required on these for page 1 rankings). Currently I have 4 mainstream keywords/phrases that I am working on and another 4 smaller ones.
