Use " pub " before your Adsense code. It make 16 Digit adsense code.

Yep. Remove off the 'ca-' part and everything will be fine.

The knowledge which DP gives is much more worthy than those couple of cents.

 

Well money would be depend on yourt posting and clicks at your Pub ID. You can't hope more money but $1 to $5 would be great for month.

I hope the following question was not discussed before; but if so, please just tell me where.

Do you need your own website to get an adsense account? I plan a multi-author site and want to share the AdSense revenues with authors. But I'm not sure: can potential authors get their own account even if they don't have a website for their own? In other words: do they get their accounts if they tell AdSense during registration, that the primary website is [mysite.net]?

Yes Steward, you need your own website or a blog to apply for ansense account. I cna suggest you an option. Create a free blog at blogger.com, post some good content and after some time apply for adsense account through it.
