    The world will not end, we as human spicies may all die one day but that will not be 2012, more likly 2112 though, beacose of the extreme polution then, global warming, disiases, epidemies, low resources and so on...

    But the planet earth will continue to exist for billions more years with different species all evolved to live in those conditions.
    When the sun explodes thats when all the planets in this solar system will be destroyed!
