Just to make sure I was not imagining things, I went back and tried a submission again. Here's the bottom line of the page leading to Paypal. It is indeed $4.99/month. Try making a submission yourself and see if it doesn't come up as below.

    Unit price $ 4.99/Month
    Quantity

Then answer the question instead of preaching high moral standing, you claimed this was not an 'expired domain' when everything seems to point to that fact. http://web.archive.org/web/200404040...buzzmedia.com/

is there a problem if it is an expired domain?
as long as he has the old backlinks and adds more?

Yes there is a problem, its effectively fake PR, and the fact the OP stated quite clearly that it wasnt one makes it a problem if it is!

Just to make it clear, I don't give a flying fig, and no to me it isn't a problem as I'm not submitting. What is a problem is when you give bollocks statements like 'this aint an ex domain directory', oh yes it is.

"If you really wanted to cash in on it you should make it a bid directory. People would bid to be on the PR7 link from the main page." - And after the next PR udpate when it goes down to a PR2 there will be a lot of charge backs.
