    As in.. the sole way of monetizing our sites? Most of us use several programs instead of dedicating to one program only.

    I'm sure people are making some money. If you get a good second-tier affiliate, that person might be able to make you quite a bit of money.

    But, I think it's probably best to combine it with something else (such as promoting the products as well on the same page). Just referring seems a bit limited.

    Well, I tried using CJ and click bank.Some people have earned money and others have hardly earned money.I fall in the second group. Nothing is definite as long as you know the proper tricks and trade to sustain in earning online money. If you will benifit first from a particular product, you can then easily refer your friends etc to earn referal money.Try click bank but be choosy on the product that you choose to refer to others.

    There are many ways to make money on the internet but if u choose only to refer, choose affiliate programs that allow you to make money from your sub-affiliates and then also make residual income from them for life.
