Usually when they get that large they become what is referred to as "nuisances" because they don't fear humans and will attack if provoked or if someone stupidly tries to "feed" it.
That was just his name! He only hunted them to protect them - it wasn't like he was hunting them for showpieces! He caught them to move them to safer places for the crocs.

A croc or an alligator...whatever that is...its really scary. I guess its tail is longer than the height of the man.

LOL - I was meaning, like - to stuff them. He built a huge awareness for wildlife that a lot of people didn't have, and the Australia Zoo takes great care of their animals. It's not like it's the circus or something!
