Not to brag - This post is just to give others some inspiration as I'm sure there are a lot of bigger ballers on this board, but I'm pretty happy with April's revenue. Biggest advice I can give is TEST your Offers. My manager @ Azoogle has been extremely helpful as well, and just 2 months ago I was making almost nothing after the downfall of some offers I experienced from last year. If you haven't signed up yet, I highly recommend you try Azoogle I just opened my own affiliate blog here so I will be posting lots of tips on how you can make $$$ promoting different affiliate programs including Azoogle.
that's a nice cheque dude. As i am the first person who is replying your post I wish you share which offers you promote with me
Are you doing ringtones? I'd love to hear about other people making money with something besides ringtones for once
The check means nothing w/out knowing how much you spent on advertising. If you spent $15,000 on advertising then the check value is only $1,000... I'm not a hater just realistic.
Affiliate links within the body of posts are against DP Forum guidelines. You may want to remove that before the Mods find it and give you an infraction (and they will)
Wow, it's really a nice check. And your blog is nice too. I think I will be one of the regular visitors.
haha, same. I've have nearly $700 in my account since like a year ago.....and the form is sitting right on my desk next to me, already completed....man I am lazy.
Are you sure that's you? lol....that's 8k there, I'm curious as to how much he has really spent in advertising. Hopefully not 8k? lol
It's always nice to see people reaping the rewards of their hard work. Don't spend the money at once ;-)
8k? Not sure what you're referring to, but approx. $7,000 was spent on advertising, all PPC. Even if 8k was spent on advertising, that leaves me with over 10k clean profit. Not sure about you, but to me and other people out there, thats enough money to get by.
I was talking to some one at the last SEO Bash in Toronto and he told me he was doing an Adwords spend of $800 a day and getting $1800 from affilates. He had made $30k USD the month before. He was a newbie with arbitrage and had been doing it for 5 months. I think all that is needed is to some hard work to put up a site and then find cheap Adwords that will convert at the affiliates. Also another interesting thing is that in 50% of the time he was sending the click throughs right to the affiliate sites. In that case you don't even need a website.
How are people getting numbers so mixed up in this thread? The check was for 18k so even if he spent 15k his net would still be 3k+. He spent 7k and made 11k net, which is still really friggin good.
natekapi: >>>How are people getting numbers so mixed up in this thread? I don't see any one getting numbers mixed up. RawkusP only gave his gross, he didn't give the cost of Adwords at the beginning. Also one person came up with differnet numbers for their own example but that doesn't mean there are mixed up.
I can't believe nobody has addressed the real issue with this picture and it's implications. I know you've all seen it, and I for one am not going to just sit here and pretend like I never saw it. Here is the real issue: There appears to be a white spot on our friend's fingernail, and I think we all know what that means, ZINC DEFICIENCY! Yes, this is no laughing matter and it's good we caught this now. Because at the rate our friend is going, with his current diet and 10 years down the line, he could end up with 2 white spots on his fingernails. There's hope though. With a diet high in green leafy vegtables and perhaps a Men's One A Day, there's hope for a partial recovery. You'll never be the same, that's for sure. But with a lot of hard work, you can beat this. Also, great job on the check.
