So I want to improve my spanish online.

I did a bunch of google searches, but all I've found are some bad quality but expensive sites  so any ideas? :)

If you will pay I would suggest:

    Platiquemos.

by the time you are done you should be able to speak Spanish. (It's not really online though.)

Here is a site with the foreign service institute program that the above was based on:

    http://fsi-language-courses.com/

It's in the puiblic domain so people can update it.

There is this site also, which is free:

    http://www.learner.org/resources/series75.html

Thie site may be helpful also:

    http://how-to-learn-any-language.com

There are many online Spanish courses to choose from and anyone can learn Spanish online. Online colleges, universities and professional programs can coach people on anything these days. One can comfortably learn Spanish at home, in your office, or for that matter, anywhere, with the help of a private live online Spanish tutor at http://www.lejoslearning.com with a conversational spanish program.

For translation purpose, Spanish to English, I use -

    google.co.in/language_tools?hl=en

Using this I learnt some basic spanish words.
