Just looking at some of the stats here it does not sound like many people are making much money with Auction Ads...

    Ruby
    Revenue: $3.08
    Imp: 117665 = $0.026 CPM
    Clicks: 527 = $0.0058 CPC

    Judd
    Rev: $41.81
    Imp: 57507 = $0.722 CPM
    Clicks: 766 = $0.054 CPC

    Good Links
    Rev: $48.80
    Imp: 126511 = $0.386CPM
    Clicks: 1381 = $0.0353 CPC

    Mia
    Rev: $14.85
    Imp: 32258 = $0.461 CPM
    Clicks: 524 = $0.028 CPC

    Chimaera (April)
    Rev: $57.35
    Imp: 68476 = $0.837 CPM
    Clicks: 730 = $0.078 CPC

Anyone making more than $1 CPM or $0.10 a click?

Since AA is CPA, and not CPC, I dont know that CPC is a good measure of performance - although CPM should be a good measure.

In my case I dont really care because the location i've put AA has not done squat with Adsense or YPn, so the $25 it's earned in the last few weeks is basically icing on the cake..

I added Auctions Ads to a poor performing adsense location on one of my forums. The adsense spot was earning $16 a day on average. The Auction Ads replacement in the same location has been earning $28 a day, almost a 100% increase. Time to test in the dozens of other locations...:D

Since march 22 i have made about $250 with adsense and $300 with AuctionAds so i am happy with it. Also remember that with the 30 day cookie you could see revenue jump from previous days when you run reports.

    Rev: $59.80
    Imp: 29985 = $1.994 CPM
    Clicks: 841 = $0.0711 CPC

These are the figures just for my Wolfmother site, which is the main source of income and clicks. My overall figures are inflated by the impressions on the forum.

So not bad CPM ... but still not great CPC. However, I haven't really seen a decrease in my adsense stats, so this is in addition.

Its really flattering to even be considered vs AdSense. To be honest for most sites its probably not going to out perform AdSense however since you can run them together it makes a very nice additional revenue.

Some people with very specific targeted niches tho have found it does out perform AdSense for them.

Maybe we should stop reporting clicks ;) (jk)

Jeremy - Is there any way of adding a feature to the program where you specify by either keyword or by eBay category? That would be a great improvement, IMO

I signed up yesterday for AA and find it really nice because I can embed products in my website that I couldn't find in any affiliate programme. I haven't made a penny yet but I have had clicks 664 impressions and 4 clicks, in less than a day.

At the moment you can only create ads using keywords that look through the whole eBay site. What would be good is if you could specify an eBay category (i.e. Sporting Goods -- Baseball -- Bats) that you want to display. A combination of both would be ideal so your selection would be:

    Ad Keywords: bats, jerseys
eBay Category: Sporting Goods -- Baseball

It would make it easier to target ads.

Just a question: if I use two or three keywords (ex. ipods, dog food) should I separate them with a comma or just space? Because when I use two keywords, I get totally unrelated results.

if you use a space it combines them so if nothing is found it will show the "whats hot on ebay" ads generally purses ipods and stuff.

If you use a ; it will random between them

Hmm, targetting seems to be down on my site? I'm just getting handbags and crap. Doesn't change if I refresh either. Anyone else having this issue?

[edit]it's actually fine on my other site ... strange.

I've got ot on few sites and everything is tracking relevancy pretty good. Only one blank box seen so far. Cleared up after refresh.

Still only made $.94 since March though.
